White-Collar Winter Wonderland: A Professional Wintertime Look-book
From everyday office attire to business luncheons and interviews, finding an outfit can be stressful enough and this time of year only seems to add a level of difficulty. Remaining professional and warm does not mean one must sacrifice style.
Here are a few ensemble inspirations for every working woman.
Look One: The Commuter
Taking a few laps around the revolving door throughout the day prioritizes warmth, in other words an investment coat. This season I took to my trusty Third Ward boutique, Stephanie Horne, for this fabulous wrap coat. Underneath I layered a choker-style long sleeve top with a textured frock in eggplant, both found at H&M. I topped it all off with a pair of statement over-the-knee boots from Nordstrom Rack.
Look Two: The Feminine
Just because you’re at work doesn’t mean the pretty little things in your closet must stick to the hangers. Starting off with a classic pencil skirt from Banana Republic and Target suede pumps, possibilities are endless. I chose to showcase this constructed, lace blouse hailing from Holiday Boutique in Boston, Massachusetts. For the final touches I added golden earrings from Altar’d State and my Fossil smart watch.
Look Three: The Tailored
For those looking for something more polished, a pant suit is the move. I styled this modern take with a pair of Bebe trousers, Express blazer, and Zara turtleneck. In terms of accessories I opted for a fun pair of Warby Parker glasses, simple jewelry, and a holiday-inspired pair of Nine West pumps.
